Passages and relaxation in the middle of the berries
Pass, pass and rest!
The garden is intended to welcome visitors. You pass through it twice to discover the other plots, which is why it is a strategic entry and exit point. It is a question of offering both a space for wandering at the start of the walk but also for a break and relaxation at the end of the walk.
At the crossroads between the cultivated garden, the vegetable garden and the wooded wasteland, which constitute the three typical spaces found in the Hortillonnages, the vegetation of the garden is a variation of small fruits (raspberries, currants, etc.) in a horizontal frame rational. We walk between the volumes to be picked in grassy paths in which we relax, we play, we have a drink…
Several relaxation areas are housed in the hollow of the vegetation:
– A half-shaded, half-sun space under the tall alder
– A central hinge space linked to the prunus and the pontoon
– A space in contact with water with a view of the pond
To create the event under the “king prunus” pear tree, a net is transformed into a playful seat for small children during lunch. In the heart of the garden, a shed acts as a guinguette with a counter and a picnic table, where you can have a drink, have lunch, and also come and take a deckchair. Deckchairs in wood and fabric are available to sit in a relaxed way and disappear under the shelter of small fruit trees!
